Li Xiaotian (b.1989) currently working as a curator of Huangbian Station Contemporary Art Research Center(HBS) in Guangzhou. Also one of the members of SoengJoengToi space. She is a writer and her writings had been included in Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, s, Artforum.com.cn, LEAP and Southern Metropolis Daily, etc. 

丁博，丁博是一个几乎不跟旅行团的旅行者，对他来说，景观永远没有人情重要。他喜欢在旅行前询问去过的朋友的意见，制定应付各种未知情况的计划，并热衷于在到达之后接受新的邀请而更改行程。他喜欢看，更喜欢聊。在路上的时候，他曾经非常紧张，但现在已经好多了。

Bruce Bo Ding is a traveler who repels guided tour. For him, spectacle is never as important as relationship. He likes to consult friends who have been to the destination before departure, and make plans for different occasions. But he also enjoys changing the itinerary to accept new invitations. He loves to see but more to chat. He used to feel very nervous being on the road, but now he feels much better.

我将侧重分享越南胡志明市、会安古城以及河内的博物馆及艺术机构见闻，辅以日常观察，其中会涉及一些越南与广州及泛珠三角地区城市的语境对比。

去印尼是一次有序又盲目的旅行，因为我们一方面对这个行程期待已久，另一方面却在临出发前才意识到自己对那里实在知之甚少。来不及补课，我们索性就把这次旅行变成了一次试验：如何通过“交往”而非“阅读”来认识一个地方？如何摆脱“抽象”，进入“具体”？我们能不能在那里找到开心的事情，认识有趣的人，发现惊喜的地方？因为个人兴趣的原因，我们难免更多地关注到了当地的文化与艺术活动，但这次旅行却帮助了我们去想象另一种生活。

This lecture will focus on my observations after visiting the museums and art institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An and Hanoi, as well as some daily observations, which will involve some contextual comparisons between Vietnam and Guangzhou and the Pan-Pearl River Delta cities.

Going to Indonesia is a trip with elaborate planning and plain ignorance- on the one hand, we had been waiting for this trip for a long time; on the other hand, we suddenly realised before setting out that we really don't know much about the place. As there is no time to make up, we then decided to turn this trip into an experiment: how to understand a place through “interaction” rather than “reading”? How to escape the "abstract" and enter the "concrete"? Are we able to find happy things, meet interesting people, and discover surprises in this unknown land? Due to our personal interests, we inevitably paid more attention to the local cultural and artistic scenes, but this trip had provided much more and helped us to imagine another way of life.
